Short breaks for large golfing groups!

​Ocholo are very excited to announce for the first time we will be accepting short breaks in our largest villa, Villa Elenor Grande! Sleeping 18 in beds, and with the ability to sleep up to 21, this villa has proved extremely popular with our fellow golfers and other large groups of people.

We can now accept 3, 4 and 5 night trips, great for large groups and families alike that want a long weekend or a midweek trip! We are delighted to be able to offer this facility to all! We can offer this in Villa Elenor Grande and Villa Helene, which is a luxury house 50m away, that sleeps 10.

With flexible days and our own taxi transfer drivers, supermarkets that can deliver your shopping, and our excellent member of staff and office just a few minutes away to help book restaurants, and taxis, we really can offer a hassle free trip for you.

Golf trips at Villa Elenor Grande

The Algarve has always been known for its great golf holidays.

Albufeira is a great place to have a holiday and also combine with some golf - courses are - Balaia, Salgados Golf and Pine Cliffs Golf.

On the west side of Albufeira is the 18-hole Salgados Golf Course which is a ‘Links’ style of course and which includes many water hazards. There are also two very well kept popular 9-hole courses on the east side of the town, the Pine Cliffs Golf Course and the Balaia Golf Course.

Pine Cliffs Golf Resort, is only 20 minutes by car from Villa Elenor Grande. The 9 hole course is one of the country’s most original golf courses, built in a pinewood setting, with tree lined fairways running parallel along the Atlantic Ocean, giving it’s guests breathtaking views along the Algarve coastline. 168 acres and absolutely stunning, a must visit for any golfer!

The 18 hole Salgados Golf Course set on the flat lands behind the sandy beach of Praia de Gale. The environmental nature of the course is to associate it with a typical Links Course but with the added asset of the sun. It is very open to the elements with little vegetation and lots of water hazards making it challenging and exciting.

Balaia Golf Course is a small and attractive golf course which offers the opportunity to improve your iron shots and your short game. It carries the title of Executive Course which in its name implies the quality of its layout and subtle challenges. Most reviews say although it is a tight course of Par 3’s, it should not be underestimated and is very challenging!

The most central area of the Algarve, between Vilamoura, Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo is one of the most luxurious in the Algarve and also one of the best equipped for playing golf. These championship courses combine links and fairways with cliffs, lakes and bunkers, providing a high standard of holes. This area is only around a 25 minute drive from Villa Elenor Grande.
