WHILST IN PORTUGAL

72 HOURS BEFORE FLYING BACK TO UK Book test in your resort in Portugal within 72 hours of your return to UK, have your covid test, get result by e-mail.

48 HOURS BEFORE FLYING BACK TO UK Fill in UK Government Passenger Locator form - you need to fill in the test booking reference of your day 2 covid test on this form or you cannot return to the UK. If you have not booked a Day 2 covid test for the UK do it now to receive your ‘Day 2 test booking reference’ unless you are exempt from taking tests which you still will need to complete this form with details of exemption to get your passenger locator certificate.

48 HOURS AFTER RETURNING TO UK - Do your pre-ordered Day 2 test on day 2 of arrival back to UK.

Note:

You MUST book the Green pack or a specific ‘Day 2’ test before you fly back from Portugal to the UK - because upon doing this you will receive a TEST DAY 2 BOOKING REFERENCE and this HAS to go on your Passenger locator form on the way back to the UK which has to be shown at check-in in Portugal. Any other test booked, even the accredited PCR tests will not give you this booking reference number if it isn’t a ‘Day 2 test’ - people were refused boarding back to the UK.
