Villa Lina dates back to the XVI century and is located in Murano, an island in the Laguna Veneta which is famous all over the world for its historic craft glass production activities. Murano is formed like a little Venice: it is made up of 9 small islands linked by bridges with the Canal Grande in the middle.
It is possible to directly access the villa by taxi or by boat, landing on the private jetty, or by public transport, the vaporetto (or water boat), getting off at the COLONNA stop, on the 5.1-5.2-3-18-7 lines. It is 30 minutes by vaporetto from Piazza San Marco, the railroad station and the airport.
The villa has air conditioning in the bedrooms and WI FI internet connection; it is elegantly furnished in a modern style and fully supplied with the necessary accessories.
The terrace, with a view of the canal for summertime breakfasts and the large flower-filled garden facing the canal, with direct private access from the lagoon, offer plenty of opportunities for relaxing, sunbathing or reading books in the complete tranquility of Murano, far away from the noise of the narrow streets and the comings and goings of the tourists.
The owners live in one part of the villa and only share the external entrance from the garden; there are no other communal areas.
If guests decide to walk towards the center of Murano, to the restaurants, to the vaporetto, banks, supermarkets etc., they will pass through the garden of the Nason&Moretti glassworks which is very beautiful and can be visited privately with the owner.
