The apartment is bright and airy, flooded with natural light from both the double balcony doors, and the large sash window in the bedroom. With beautiful original trusses and beams exposed, dating back to the 19th century, there is a warmth and character here, giving real charm and luxury.
The apartment is unique in that it has a very rare, private balcony for you to enjoy - overlooking the river, with space to take in the views as the boats and the swans go by, on the Bistro set table and chairs.
Enter into the hallway, there is plenty room for shoes and coats. There is a Smart TV in the living room with Netflix, and spotlighting with dimming switch. The open-plan living/dining/kitchen, has stunning views over the river. There is a modern, new shower bathroom.
The cosy double bedroom has the most amazing river views which you can enjoy from your pillow. The sofa in the living area can pull out into a double bed, (extra people on request for a supplement, please ask.)
The beautiful kitchen, has all the modern comforts you will need, a coffee machine, dishwasher, oven, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle, tea making facilities and a selection of teas and coffee and milk for you to use. The kitchen island is the perfect spot for breakfast, with two dining stools, also great for laptops and if needed, a spot of work.
The ultra-modern bathroom has a large shower with overhead rain shower head, toilet, sink and backlit mirror.
We provide hand soaps, 2 dishwasher tablets, sponges and hand gel for use inside the apartment.
There is an elevator in the building should you wish to use it. New high speed Fibre Wi-Fi installed May 2025.
The central location makes it perfect to see all the attractions York has to offer. A peaceful and relaxing view of the boats and the ducks from your balcony yet you are just a few minutes walk into the heart of York.
We are able to offer you a private gated car parking space, in the garage beneath the apartment, for £15 per day, please let us know if you wish to book this.

The height of the garage at the tallest point is 1.75m and the width is 2.4m and 5.2m in length.
If your car is larger than these restrictions sadly we do not have the facilities to provide parking throughout your stay. There are car parks around the area, NCP Tanner Row is closest and Nunnery Lane next. Both within 5 minutes walk.
Please also note that although not a common occurrence if the river is flooded throughout your stay there will be no access to the garage parking. On this occasion you would be responsible for arranging your own parking and for your vehicle, we cannot be held responsible for any situation regarding your vehicle or the river flooding.
