This 4-bedroom Villa near Alvor in the Algarve, Portugal, is a thoughtfully designed holiday home ideal for families. It accommodates up to 8 adults, with an option for an additional guest in a pull-out bed. The villa features modern amenities like electric shutters, a security alarm, and air conditioning.

Guests can enjoy a heated swimming pool, a jacuzzi, table tennis, a basketball net, and a football game, all within a private, fenced garden. Located near the renowned Penina Golf Resort, the villa is just a 15-minute walk from the hotel and golf course facilities and an 8-minute drive from the market town of Portimão and Alvor’s beach. Nearby restaurants and nightlife make it a perfect spot for relaxation and entertainment.

The sitting room features two large sofas and two armchairs, centered around a closed log fireplace and wide sliding glass doors that lead to the main terrace. For entertainment, there’s a large plasma TV connected to a satellite cable system, along with a DVD player, music center, radio, and an iPod docking station.

The dining area includes a table that seats six to eight and opens into a modern kitchen equipped with a large cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and specialized appliances like a Magi-mix and soup beater. The kitchen also has a bar with two chairs for kids and doors that lead to the barbecue terrace and laundry room.

The laundry room, which includes a sink, washing machine, and dryer, connects to a shower room and an outer drying terrace. The ground floor bedrooms consist of a twin bedroom with twin beds (which can be combined into a double), a double bedroom with an en suite shower room, and a large double bedroom featuring a full en suite bathroom with a bathtub and shower cubicle. All bedrooms have fitted cupboards and doors to terraces.

Upstairs, you will find a spacious master suite featuring a double bed and wide sliding doors that open onto an upper terrace, providing a view of the pool and gardens. The large en-suite bathroom includes a bathtub, a separate shower cubicle, double sinks, a toilet, a heater, and a towel rail. Additionally, there is a door from the bedroom that leads to a small terrace with steps that descend to the pool area.

There is also a study/office, which is a bright and sunny room with windows on three sides. This allows for views of the pool on one side and the surrounding villas and gardens on the other.

Outside, there is a large rectangular swimming pool measuring 15 x 5 meters and up to 1.6 meters deep. It features gentle steps at the shallow end with a support handrail for the elderly, and it can be heated (included during certain seasons) with an electrically powered cover. A safety fence can be installed if requested in advance, and there are eight sunbeds available.

The terrace extends from the sitting room along the poolside and is partly covered with a canvas awning for additional shade. It is furnished with a table and eight chairs for outdoor meals, as well as space for a table tennis table.

In the garden, there is a Jacuzzi (heated at an extra £125 per week), a table football game, and a basketball net. The kitchen side features a covered barbecue area with a built-in charcoal grill and a sink, along with an outdoor shower with hot and cold water.

Access is via double gates with parking space for 2-3 cars. Please note that the garage is locked and contains the owner’s personal belongings. The property is fully fenced, with pathways leading to the pool.

Car hire is essential for this villa and for exploring the Algarve - we can arrange for a car to be ready at the airport or delivered to your Villa at a time of your choice. Alternatively, we can arrange for a taxi transfer to/from Faro Airport to any location across the Algarve.
